The primary responsibility of a Plant Operator at Ormat Nevada Inc is to ensure the operation of the Power Plant is safely and efficiently carried out in accordance with Plant Operating Procedures.

This position is responsible for organization and control of procurement activities, with the objective of maximizing the contribution to operating profit and optimizing the purchasing and procurement processes and the use of resources.

The primary responsibility of a Plant Operator is to ensure that the operation of the power plant is safely and efficiently carried out in accordance with plant safety procedures and standard operating procedures.

This position assists in drilling mud and maintaining mud systems and fluids.

This position is responsible for supporting the business development staff in writing proposals, term sheets, market research, and administers the US Business Development databases.

Conduct sub-surface engineering surveys and well tests on geothermal energy resource fields to identify the characteristics of potential resource development sites and to forecast and optimize resource usage. Requires domestic and international travel up to 50% of the time.  EOE

The position is responsible for reviewing potential development projects and identifying project scope all issues related to development including barriers and opportunities, providing support to regional development directors, managing the regulatory approval process, acting as project champions by working closely with regional areas, taking lead in development projects, providing coordination within business development and other departments to move projects forward, providing business intelligence and strategy preparation and providing in-depth reporting.

This position is responsible to expand market in Solar/Storage space by identifying and leading development projects, business intelligence gatherings, developing partners, regulator and customer relations, provides coordination between departments, and provides in depth reporting for projects in solar power generation.

This position is responsible for market position and financial growth in either Asia Pacific or Africa. Should have proven experience in penetration and success in emerging markets. Extensive travel is required with possible relocation. The position develops strategy, identifies and leads development projects and product sales, directs business intelligence gatherings, develops and maintains clients, regulators and partner relations in Renewable Energy sectors, particularly Geothermal, Solar and  Storage.
