The Maintenance Technician performs the tasks required to install, repair, modify, overhaul, diagnose, test, and maintain all power plant equipment and systems. As required, provides leadership for various maintenance and outage activities being performed by lesser qualified individuals and outside contractors. Utilizes and maintains the computerized maintenance management program. Provides environmental and safety stewardship and ensures that all safety and regulatory requirements are met.
Install, test, maintain, troubleshoot, and repair low and high voltage electrical equipment, such as motors and motor controls, switchgear, transformers, voltage regulators, electrical protective devices, and PLC I/O, main and auxiliary generators and battery support systems.
