The simple, free-standing, modular design of the ORMAT® ENERGY CONVERTER (OEC) enables many of our customers to purchase equipment direclty from us, and install it themselves into their own operations.
The OEC is a clean, fuel-free independent power source that does not interfere with existing plant processes.

Ormat offers a complete suite of turnkey services for the development of REG plants, including engineering, procurement and construction in selected countries for the OEC alone or the complete REG system.
Recovered Energy Generation Power Plants - Electricity Sales
Ormat may enter into agreements with clients who operate processing facilities or compressor stations on gas pipelines. Ormat will build and operate the REG plant, acquire the waste heat generated by the facility and sell the electricity to a local power purchaser, typically an electricity utility. |
