The Senior Environmental Permitting Specialist is responsible for supporting the business development staff in environmental and permitting related tasks to support the exploration, development, and construction of Ormat’s renewable energy and energy storage projects.

This temporary position is responsible for assisting in purchasing, maintaining inventory control, shipping, receiving, and labeling of materials in accordance with applicable permits, laws, rules, and regulations. Please note: this is a rural location, requiring two hours travel by truck (ride share with other employees) or short commuter flight.

The Control System Specialist provides hands-on support for commissioning maintenance and troubleshooting of the control, instrumentation, and electrical systems at ORMAT facilities. Additionally, the Control System Specialist is responsible for maintaining the control system network for ORMAT Electricity Segment Power Plants. The Specialist 1 works under close supervision, performing the essential functions at an adequate level.

The Temporary Laborer position performs varied work, generally of a physical nature, in and about the power plant and field sites. Please note this position is located at Ormat's Tungsten Mountain site, a 105 miles north of Fallon, 50 miles north of Lovelock, 38 miles south of Winnemucca.
